Essex Student Ended Successful XC Career at State

At the October 19th Cross Country qualifying meet Tony Racine placed 15th earning him a spot at the State meet.  Students sent Tony off with a pep rally on Friday October 20th. At the state meet on October 27th Tony told Herald Sports that it was an amazing race. "It has always been a dream to go to state...to be that one kid that couldn't even finish a mile to now be competing at state."   

Ella Sandahl placed 16th at the qualifying meet just missing the cutoff to head to state.

Isaiah Sholes also competed in the qualifying meet running a 21:20.90.
